This item can sit on most 12 cup brewer warming plates. The brew-thru lid has a little ball that floats when the coffee is flowing into the server. When the batch is brewed, the ball drops down to keep the steam in. The bail handle is like a bucket handle. It is more expensive than the handles that are stationary, but is easier to carry. Model 1GPR Holds 1 Gallon of Hot Coffee or two 12 cup pots of coffee. Portable Bail Handle can take it to any location.
